The only rule we’ve added came along as kind of an inside joke about how one of us always ends up with way to many freaking sheep. The rule is that at any time, a person can sacrifice ten sheep to their dark god in order to call down a flood on one hex for 3 turns, blocking its resources much like the robber would. Sadly, nobody has used the rule… yet….
